CHATMONCHY Release Details For Upcoming Album "Henshin"

This will be their first work as a duo and for this album Chatmonchy composed 7 new brand tracks to include along with already released singles such as the very recent "Convenience Honeymoon".

"Henshin" is scheduled to be released on October 10th in both regular and limited edition which will come with a special DVD titled "Henshinchu" containing footage from studio lives.

ALSDEAD Releasing New Single "Puzzle"

Visual Kei band ALSDEAD announced the release of their new single “Puzzle” for November!

The single will drop on November 7th and will cost 1890 Yen. “Puzzle” comes with a CD including 3 songs and a DVD including PV and Making of. This is the full track list:

MIYAVI Collborates with Various Artists for New Album

It was already announced that Miyavi will release a new album on November 14th. Finally more information is available now!
The album is titled “SAMURAI SESSION vol. 1” and something that catches people's attention is the fact that there are many various artists from different genres who worked on this release together with Miyavi. Not only hip hop artists like KREVA are featured on the album but also artists from the traditional japanese music genre like Hiromitsu Agatsuma who's playing the Shamisen.

KETSUMEISHI Announce New Single "Moyamoya/Guruguru"

"Guruguru" will be available online from October 10th while the band's full new single "moyamoya/guruguru" will be released on November 14th. The limited edition of this single will also include a DVD with the MVs of the title tracks.

In "moyamoya/guruguru" will also include a new song called "Fu no machi" and four different versions for both "Guruguru" and "Moyamoya".

Ketsumeishi also revealed that "guruguru" will be a song for celebrate the importance of women in the world while "moyamoya" will be a message for nowadays gloomy society.

HOME MADE Kazoku Reveals Details Of Upcoming Tour

Their new nationwide tour will start on January 12th and will promote their new album "3RISE".

Before this tour, HOME MADE Kazoku will perform at some events this weekend such as FM802's "ROCK KIDS 802" in Osaka and JFN's "ONCE" in Kawasaki. They will also hold their special concert "Kazoku Fetival 2012" on October 13th @Laguna Gamagori Laguna Beach in Aichi.

Moran Announced First Full Album

Visual Kei band Moran announced the release of their first full album for 2013!

To commemorate the release of their single “Eclipse” that went on sale today Moran held a show on the Japanese video hosting site NicoNama. They grabbed the chance and made a great announcement for fans! Next year on February 20th their currently untitled album will hit the stores! More details on their first full album aren’t available yet but we will keep you updated.

Moreover, a few lives were announced! They will hold two Christmas specials: The first one takes place on December 24th and is titled “Moran VS Kra” and the second one takes place on December 25th and is titled “Moran VS DuelJewel”.
And on March 9th Moran will celebrate their 5th anniversary at Shinjuku BLAZE!

Raphael Releasing First Single in 12 Years

Raphael announced the release of a new single titled “Eternal wish ~todokanu kimi e~” for October!

After 12 years Visual Kei band Raphael will release a new single on October 31st. “Eternal wish ~todokanu kimi e~” will come in 2 editions including the following songs:

Actually Raphael disbanded in January 2001 after the death of guitarist Kazuki. Maybe you’re wondering now who will play the guitar for the new songs. On their website the band stated that they will use the old recordings from Kazuki for the new versions of the songs.

This year Raphael will have two revival lives: One on October 31st and one on November 1st. The tickets went on sale on August 11th and were sold out within 10 minutes.

Girls' Generation To Release Japanese Remake Of "Oh!" As New Single

Girls' Generation has revealed that their 5th Japanese single will be a Japanese remake of their smash hit "Oh!".

The previously untitled single will be released on September 26th.

Earlier this month, the group released the first video from the single for the B-side track "All My Love Is For You". The music video for the Japanese version of "Oh!" will be released on September 14th.

In addition to the music video's release, new visuals for the group's Japanese website and Facebook page as well as a Chaku-Uta ringtone version of the song will also be revealed.

DEATHGAZE Announces New Single And Tour

"ONEMAN TOUR 2012-2013 'GLORY CREATURES' -RE:BLAZE-" tour will start on December 5th right after the release of their upcoming single "Dead Blaze" scheduled for November 21st.

Yukari Tamura Releases Details For Her Upcoming Best-Of

Her new best of "Everlasting Gift" will be released on October 17th and will be promoted in her nationwide tour "Yukari LOVE♡LIVE 2012 Autumn *Fall in Love*" scheduled to begin on September 17th.

Tamura's new album will also include new tracks for a total of 13 songs. The CD will be released in 3 editions: Regular, Limited and First press Regular Edition, each with different features.

MERRY Announce New Album and Tour

"MERRY VERY BEST ~Shiroi Hitsuji / Kuroi Hitsuji~" will be released on September 26th and their "Merry Very Best" Tour tour will start on November 21st at the Diamond Hall in Nagoya.

The visual kei band will release their album in both CD and CD+DVD edition.

Chariots Releasing New Single in December

Chariots announced the release of a new single titled “griever”!

“Griever” will be Chariots’ first single in two years and the second one since the band turned into vocalist Riku’s solo project after the departure of the other members in February 2010.

The single will be released on December 12th and will cost 2625 Yen. The full track list isn’t revealed yet but it was announced that it will feature the sold out single “ashu” and 4 new songs.
To commemorate the release there will be a tour titled “griever groover” including 4 performances.

“Griever” will probably be Chariots’ last release under UNDER CODE PRODUCTIONS that will cease activities in March. But information on the future of the project isn’t available yet.

Preview of Koda Kumi's New Single "Go To The Top" Revealed

The audio for the anime cut of Koda Kumi's new single "Go To The Top" has been revealed.

Koda Kumi's new single will be used as the theme song for the new anime series Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse. The show is set in an alternate reality where an alien invasion occurs in 1973. Mecha warriors known as Tactical Surface Fighters are developed to fight the invasion.

The new single will be released on October 24th. Details about the single were released earlier in the week.

GACKT's secrets unveiled by the tax evasion investigation + SHOW YOUR HEART charity a fraud?

News are going round and round the web but after 40 hours after news tabloid about multi-talented former vocalist of Malice Mizer who went solo and Bunraku star, GACKT CAMUI's secrets were unveiled by the tax bureau while being investigated because of the suspicion of tax evasion. Below is a translation of an article from Shukan Bunshun via Shattered Tranquility:

A Compulsory National Tax Investigation finds GACKT's Lover and Illegitimate child!

The multi-talented former vocalist of the visual kei band, Malice Mizer, who has since gone solo, and appeared in an NHK historical drama as Uesugi Kenshin, has never revealed his true profile, and with a mysterious aura around him, is a celebrity in the world of show business.
Due to ambiguity in GACKT’s accumulated fortune, the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau was obligated to open an investigation into his finances. When they did, it became evident that GACKT has a mistress and an illegitimate child overseas.

On August 28th, officials from the taxation bureau, wearing in white dress shirts and dark suits, gathered in front of the four storey building, close to Tokyo’s Setagaya ward. The inspection officers entered the apartment, which is known for being the head office for GACKT’s entertainment business, Godey Holdings, as well as his and his family’s home.

A friend of GACKT’s stated, “The officers not only did a complete investigation of the company, but also of GACKT’s home, and even confiscated his cell phone. Every year GACKT pays an additional tax of 120,000,000 yen to avoid these types of investigations, and therefore as expected, he is extremely shocked about the inspection”.

While collecting information about GACKT’s financial flow, we’ve also come to understand the flow of money being used for his overseas lover.
Another friend said, “About ten years ago, he was in a relationship with an assistant girl who worked on the TBS-kei show, “Wonderful”, but when knowledge of her pregnancy came into light, he demanded that she “leave Japan”, and that he “did not acknowledge the child”. Instead, he has taken care of them by setting both the girlfriend and child up in a high class condominium in Canada”.

[Shukan Bunshun] has sent a data collection crew to Canada, and has confirmed that the girlfriend does exist.
Due to being investigated by Japan’s strongest investigation team, the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau, GACKT’s veil of secrecy is being pulled away.

An article from NPN.co.jp adds the following information (please note that this is not a full translation of the article, and that information that’s the same as mentioned in the above article has therefore been removed):

The investigation started in the early morning, and lasted for a long period of time, and along with his cell phone, the officers also confiscated his account book and computer.

The investigation started when the tax office realised that he had been evading taxes, and collecting “black money”.

A reporter stated, “On TV, GACKT has said things such as he “spends more than 800,000 yen on his phone bill every month”, and that he doesn’t use common sense or really think about things such as the “expenses” that come from daily life. He’s also made the mistake of mentioning ramen restaurants, and resorts that he has personally been involved in, but where the investment money came from seems to be a mystery”.

Later in the same article they also added a little more about the “mistress”.

The girl [that GACKT was involved with from the TBS show] was pregnant, but if it was exposed to the fans that GACKT was a man with a wife and kids, it would ruin his image, and worrying about the girl, it was decided that she would be taken care of with a life overseas, and that GACKT would not acknowledge the child.

The woman and child are currently living together in Vancouver, and are living in an apartment that costs a “trivial” 400,000 yen a month in rent.

From October, GACKT was scheduled to appear as a regular guest on Kitagawa Keiko’s Nippon TV drama, “Akumachan”, but we are now waiting to see what kind of influence the scandal will have.

According to another article on Innolife.net, GACKT’s comment about the scandal has been, “It’s my private life, and therefore I’m not able to reply”.

The SYH team confirms about the said rumor on GACKT's charity for the victims of the 2011 earthquake, SHOW YOUR HEART, being a fraud, is completely a rumor. Unknown sources say that the funds of the SYH accounts are having unjustified movements (and some sources are connecting the issue to GACKT's tax evasion issue) but the said rumor is already closed and SYH is finally back in the game.
